Which shoes for this dress?

My husband is taking me to dinner for our anniversary. We’re going to a restaurant on the beach. I’d say it’s like nice upscale casual but definitely not fine dining. I have no idea what shoes to pair with this dress, I usually just wear black 🫩 are gold shoes too on the nose?? I included a close up of the buckle on the black version of this dress so you can see the color of it.
