Flying to Japan First Time

Hello all, I'm about to be a first time flyer to Japan this year for a family trip, but I would like to know about some things first about the flight part mainly.

First, I have medication for blood pressure and it looks like it is allowed, but it does say less than 30 days supply. Should I bring it in the original bottle and take out the rest or should I put how much I need in a bag and write the name on it or maybe see about getting a label?

Second, I have a cpap machine I use at home which I will be bringing. Will I need to put this on my carry on? It does have its own carrying case I put it all in, so I was wondering if I should just use a backpack for it or just put it in my luggage.

Third, how is ZipAir? I've been looking online and it all seems fine, but I do wonder if its not just better to spend a bit more on a different airline, and any suggestions are open for me. Also for ZipAir, how does the in flight meals work?

Last, anything I need to make sure I have on me instead of in my checked luggage aside from my identification items?

EDIT: I am flying from San Francisco I should point out. I forgot to ask but how early should I arrive for international flight?
