lip filler bumps

i got my lips done 17 days ago, i previously had 0.5ml done 2 years ago by a nurse injector and wanted more so i went to a new injector this time. 1. he was cheaper 2. i wanted 0.3ml and he was the only person who offers it (paid $100 for 0.3ml and he offers $150 for 0.5ml and $250 for 1ml)

his clinic didn’t seem suspicious or anything, i asked him on text what filler he uses he said stylage. but i dont know if hes a nurse or doctor or anything.. anyways maybe im being paranoid or maybe i should’ve done more research/took better precautions.

anyways during the appointment i honestly didnt pay much attention to him preparing the filler. he left the room and i think thats when he prepared the stuff because when he came back he just laid out a couple needles, alcohol, and cotton pads on his cart. i never saw unbox anything, i was busy talking to my sister lol

i feel like he did my filler pretty quick as well but anyways now 17 days in, my sister and i still have a few pretty big bumps/balls in our lips. mainly my top lip. i never massaged them during the first 2 weeks but i did it once yesterday and definitely in the moment it helped break down the balls but after some time they formed again.

i know some injectors say you can massage them, and others tell you not to so idk what to do! i’ve seen some people on tiktok say their bumps took 4 weeks to heal so i’m hoping that mine will leave soon. but idk im just paranoid that he injected me & my sis with silicone or something. i guess im just looking for some reassurance that these bumps will leave soon and this whole thing isn’t sketchy loool please tell me im just being paranoid 😩
