Thanksgiving trip ideas

My wife and 3 kids (9,6,4) are flirting with the idea of a thanksgiving week trip. This will be the first long haul flight for the kids, so preferably not Asia to start. Looking for ideas elsewhere that may be a delight during that time of year. Traveling from the eastern US. We frequent Spain a lot but looking to maybe change it up, keeping in mind the kids as well.
