Costa Rican meeting the snow for the first time and I'm not sure on which type of shoes to choose

Context:

- Traveling in the first week of July to Chile. I'll do a tour to see the snow in San José de Maipo.

- I'll spend most of my week in Santiago: Parque Metropolitano, Buin Zoo and other areas.

I have all the clothing but the shoes. I'm planning on only using one pair of shoes the whole trip. Since I will not be skiing or anything, I was thinking about these options since they're available in my country:

1.Hi-Tec Cascade WP

2.Hi-Tec Altitude LTE Mid WP

I'm not into hiking so I don't need heavy boots. Are they good options? We have waterproof tennis shoes here, such as Skechers, but not sure if they're enough since I think I'll meet snow, and possibly rain.

Thanks to everyone in advance! Pura vida 🦥
