Can someone help me understand vogue?

Like it just seems like it's all adverts now. I don't understand why it's a luxury magazine, I'd get it if there was articles on how to dress and what's trendy. Maybe there is but online flip throughs, all I see it's adverts in each page.

One person once said the ads were the bread and butter of the magazine. So like are the adverts what people follow when they go shopping? I'm not sure how that works.

Basically what am I missing? I'd love to get into fashion magazines but I don't know know if vogue is worth it.

Also do you think it's worth getting as someone who isn't middle class or rich (lol) like I can't exactly afford luxury handbags. Is there any vogue followers who are inspired by what's popular/luxurious but have a more affordable interpretation?

Should I just go for another magazine suited for me. If so what would anyone suggest?

Thank you! 🫪
