ISO of bag/sling brands to check out

I'm looking to purchase a new handbag, and I'm specifically looking for a sling or belt bag style that I can wear crossbody. For the last few years, I've just been carrying all my things plus kids things in my Joshuvela Baja backpack I've been using as a diaper bag (which I highly recommend—I was definitely influenced by mysimplysimple on Instagram). I will be keeping the backpack forever, a true BIFL piece, but I'm ready for a smaller bag for when I'm sans kids, but I still prefer a crossbody to distribute weight across my shoulders.

My wants: chic/elevated in style, crossbody, leather/canvas (or other natural fibers) and specifically, I'm looking through a critical lens of prioritizing chromium-free or vegetable tanned leather, companies using offcuts/from the meat industry, or local production or raising of the cattle(I'm in the upper midwest of the USA so focusing on US or Canadian produced). I love small handmade companies too!

I've currently got my eye on the following brands: O My Bag Amsterdam and Range Revolution. If you have experience about either brand, please share! And share all your ideas and brand recs with me!
