Reading a passage from The 7 Portals. One of the greatest shifts we can make is realizing that reality is never neutral. Whatever consciousness is most dominant will shape the reality we experience. If our awareness constantly lives outside of ourselves, we unconsciously inherit beliefs about who we are, what love is, what success means, what beauty looks like, what is possible and we mistake them for our own. Awareness changes that. It allows us to witness those inherited narratives instead of living from them. And only then can we consciously choose what is true for us.
