Celebrating Portraits: Photography Honoring the Spectrum of Skin Tones

For over a decade now, here on the Phoblographer both I and several other writers for the site have been talking about making images for people of color. It's been proven for a long time that photography wasn't totally developed for those of us with darker skin tones. But as the only Editor in Chief of a large online photography magazine who has visible melanin in their skin, this is an issue that has always been very close to me and my heart. A while back, we wrote an article about people of color and Fujifilm Film simulations; and I decided to write about other systems. So here's what I've found over the years in my experimentations.
